Love In This Club

What can I do?

I want you addicted to me..

What in the world is a girl to do?
When in this smokey place I only see you
Was far away when you caught my eye
You’ve brought me back and now you’re making me high

I was alone out there, with no one else around
Now I’ve fallen for you, and there’s no coming down

Till there was you, I know what you’re needing
My thoughts are leading, me straight into your eyes
What can I do? I’m looking right at you
This feeling is all new, I want you addicted to me

Fate can act in a curious way
When all that mattered means nothing today
All that concerns me, that drenches my thoughts
Is the sensation that seeing you brought

I was alone out there, with no one else around
Now I’ve fallen for you, and there's no coming down

And there’s no coming down..

Till there was you.. What can I do..?

Till there was you, I know what you’re needing
My thoughts are leading, me straight into your eyes
What can I do? I’m looking right at you
This feeling is all new, I want you addicted to me

And there’s no coming down..

That song from Rachel Starr, remixed to countless versions, used to be one of my favorite dancy-handbaggish tunes. No, Im not so much into handbags, but this one kinda worked for me. Sexy in a way...more because of the lyrics than its tempo. Because in a way it sorta explains how I became, at one point, arguably "the man" of most gay clubs in KL , and throughout the major parts of that period, an addict. Which eventually led my my downfall.

But no regrets. Not for a second....

Tonight, very unlike every weekend nights for the last three years, has been very different. Quiet. No clubbing, no drugging. But the song keeps playing in my head..... the story of the search for this elusive other half, who would complete me. Cheesy like hell, I know, but I did believe in it! :) Only two weeks ago I still left Frangipani wondering "where were you?"...

This blog is about the quest of finding him.....this mystery man, who would catch my eyes in the smoky club from afar, and bring me back and make me high...The quest which have brought me to my knees, weeping, and eventually finding that there's Him, afterall. All these while. With me.
